Introduction to the new machine gun strobe "MG10" (Extra Edition)
シェアする
In this corner where we share the appeal of the new machine gun strobe, we are taking a break from our regular programming to answer a common inquiry: "I want to remove the zoom cover, but it's so stiff that I'm afraid I'll break it if I try."
It is built to be durable, so it won't break easily, but there is a trick to it, which I will share with you today.
The zoom cover is held in place by a single tab at the bottom that acts as a stopper, so you just need to ensure that this tab is released correctly.
Turn the MG10 head over and manually pull the zoom cover out to its fully extended position.
Since it is magnet-linked, pulling it with force will not cause any problems. Please be sure to perform this operation with the power turned off.
Place your finger on the slightly raised section in the center of the underside of the zoom cover, and lift it up while applying pressure to release it.
At this time, if you try to remove it by pulling it outward with force, the tab will catch and prevent you from releasing it correctly. Make sure to lift it firmly before pulling it out.
Once the tab is released, simply pull it off.
It is now removed. To reattach it, simply snap it back into place.
A comparison of the head sizes. From left to right: MG8000, MG10 (with zoom cover removed), and Di700A.
Surprisingly, the MG10 head is quite compact with the zoom cover removed, allowing for the attachment of most commercially available accessories.
The initial limited production "MG10 + Air10s Kit (for Canon, Nikon, and Sony)" has been available for advance sale only at our authorized retailers nationwide since August 24th.
Individual unit sales will also begin via online shops (all Nissin Digital Direct stores) from late September. With its high power and multifunctionality, it is sure to open up a new world of expression for you.
