How to identify the mount
Nissin Digital products feature five types of shoe mounts. Attaching a flash with a different mount than your camera directly to the camera will not function correctly. We do not offer a mount conversion service, so please ensure you select the mount that matches your camera when making your purchase.
How to Identify Your Mount
1. For Canon
- "For Canon" printed on the unit (may not be present on some models)
- Four signal pins located behind the center pin
- One locking pin at the front center
2. For Nikon
- "For Nikon" printed on the unit (may not be present on some models)
- Two signal pins located behind the center pin
- One signal pin on the front left, and one locking pin in the center
3. For Sony (Multi Interface Shoe)
- "For Sony" printed on the unit (may not be present on some models)
- Exterior is made of black resin (metallic for MF18 and MG80 Pro)
- Nine thin, elongated signal pins at the front
4. For Fujifilm
- "For FUJI" printed on the unit (may not be present on some models)
- Two signal pins to the rear-left of the center pin, and one signal pin in the front row on the right
- One locking pin at the front center
5. For Panasonic / Olympus (Four Thirds)
- "For 4/3" printed on the unit (may not be present on some models)
- "FT" engraving on the shoe plate
- Two signal pins to the rear-left of the center pin, and one signal pin in the back row on the right
- One locking pin at the front center
