■ New Product 1: MF18 II Macro Ring Flash
The "MF18," the go-to ring flash for high-quality, easy, and automatic macro photography, has evolved even further.
The biggest evolution is the magnetic mechanism built into the flash head. This allows for one-touch attachment and detachment of the simultaneously released "MF-PL Cross-Polarizing Filter Set (sold separately)." By using it in combination with the polarizing filter, you can thoroughly suppress the unpleasant glare and blown-out highlights that often occur in close-up photography. This achieves delicate depiction without compromising the details or textures of the subject.
While retaining the signature "bright shooting in tight spaces" capability of the MF18—achieved by its unique semi-circular discharge tube positioned around the lens—the evolution into the "II" adds the new value of powerful glare suppression.
