Q. There is a faint crackling sound when I put my ear close to the flash.
Applicable models: Di866 MARK II
A. This is a specification of this unit. The frequency of the charging sound has been altered to reduce noise. While the quietened sound may be audible to the user, it is at a level that cannot be heard by people nearby.
Q. Does it support High-Speed Sync (FP flash/HSS mode)?
Applicable models: Di866 MARK II
A. Yes, it is supported.
It can be used in TTL mode, Manual mode, and Wireless TTL mode. It does not work in Auto (Av) mode or Slave mode (SD/SF).
When setting High-Speed Sync for manual flash, the power output cannot be set lower than 1/32 due to control limitations. Even if set to 1/32 or lower, it will revert to 1/32 when shooting.
Additionally, for the Sony version, the HSS mode will be disabled if the flash head is moved from the front position, due to camera specifications. Please be aware of this.
