Q. Can it be attached to light stands or tripod heads from other manufacturers?
Applicable models: FT-01 / RH-100C
A. The stand mount for the FT-01 and RH-100C is designed to fit over a 16mm diameter male spigot that has a 3/8-inch (large) male screw at the tip. (A 3/8-inch female thread is cut inside the 16mm female spigot.)
Therefore, it can be attached to general male spigots that meet the following conditions:
・Has a 3/8-inch male screw at the tip (cannot be attached to 1/4-inch screws)
・Is a 16mm diameter male spigot (cannot be attached to 17mm diameter ones)
・The male spigot has at least 26mm of clearance excluding the screw at the tip (if it is less than 26mm, the screw may not tighten sufficiently)
Our Super Light Stand series is compatible if you remove the screw adapter attached to the tip when purchased.
It is not compatible with tripod heads or 1/4-inch screws, so please use a commercially available adapter.

A. Yes. It can be attached to any strobe that mounts directly to a camera hot shoe (accessory shoe compliant with the ISO 518 standard) or a strobe that uses Sony's Multi Interface Shoe.
Please note that Sony (formerly Minolta) Auto-lock Shoes have a different shape and cannot be attached.

Q. I cannot attach the FT-01/RH-100C to a Super Light Stand (LS-50C, LS-55C, LS-65C)

A. The stand mount of the FT-01 and RH-100C uses a 3/8-inch female thread (large screw). Please remove the screw adapter attached to the tip of the Super Light Stand (LS-50C, LS-55C, LS-65C) at the time of purchase before screwing the FT-01 onto it.
