How to hold the camera when taking an intraoral image
How to use the strap

When using the camera in the clinical setting of dentistry, be sure to attach a strap to the camera body and actively use the strap to prevent accidents to the patient. To use it, wrap the strap around your wrist twice as shown in Photo 12 (a), then hang it on your thumb (b) and hold the camera.
This should prevent accidents such as dropping the camera on the patient’s face.
In intraoral photography, the shooting distance tends to be shorter than the length of the strap, so just wearing the strap around the neck may drop the camera on the patient’s face in the unlikely event. Be careful.
How to hold the camera

The correct way to hold the camera is to tighten your
armpits as shown in Photo 13. Even though you are choosing a lighter one, the SLR camera has a corresponding weight.
Be aware that if the armpits are open, it may cause camera shake photos.
In intraoral photography, it is often the case that the camera is held in one hand, but even in this case, if you firmly tighten your right arm and put your elbow on your abdomen as shown in Photo 14, you should be able to hold the camera in a stable manner.
