"MG80 Pro" Features
■ Equipped with a high-heat-resistant quartz tube – A clip-on "machine gun flash"
The flash head utilizes a high-heat-resistant quartz tube. The maximum guide number is 60 (at ISO100/200mm). This is a tough clip-on flash that is resistant to high-speed continuous shooting and continuous flashing, allowing you to focus on your shoot without missing a shutter opportunity.
■ Built-in radio commander function
The "MG80 Pro" features not only a NAS slave function but also a built-in NAS commander function. By using the "MG80 Pro" as a master, you can wirelessly trigger NAS-compatible flashes. It supports a communication range of approximately 100m, control for up to 8 groups, and an open mode*2 that allows communication with NAS flashes without pairing.
■ Recycle time of approx. 1.2 seconds using commercially available Li-ion batteries
In addition to AA NiMH batteries (4 units), the flash can be powered by Li-ion batteries (14500 size, 4 units). When using Li-ion batteries, the recycle time at full power can be shortened to approximately 1.2 seconds*3. (Approx. 3 seconds when using AA NiMH batteries)
■ Firmware updates performable by the user
Equipped with a microSD card slot for firmware updates. Users can easily perform firmware updates themselves.
■ Magnetic slide-type zoom cover
Adopts an external auto-zoom feature. Slide the zoom cover to control the beam angle automatically or manually.
■ Built-in modeling light function

*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our company's proprietary standard. It is not compatible with other companies' radio wireless systems.
*2 Available when both the NAS commander and the NAS-compatible flash have the open mode function.
*3 May vary depending on the usage environment, battery performance, and battery degradation.
