FLAT Background Product Information
An ultra-lightweight "background" using a two-point tension system that leverages the flexibility of carbon fiber. The "FLAT Background" is a lightweight background sheet that dramatically reduces the burden of location photography.
Made with resin material, it eliminates the "curling" and "tearing" issues common with traditional background paper. It provides a consistently stable, flat shooting surface. Setup is as simple as hanging it from the battens of a "stick reflector." This simple structure significantly reduces setup time on location.
Despite its wide 1.27m design, the entire system weighs only about 1kg (excluding the light stand). It provides high mobility for location and on-site shoots where you want to keep equipment to a minimum.
The surface has a matte finish that beautifully controls light. It can be used not only as a background but also as a large reflector to build a stable lighting environment.
Featuring loop-style elastic tension bands, it flexibly adapts to mounting on poles or stands. Instantly elevate any location to studio quality.

Key Features
Durable resin, yet "lighter than paper"
Made with a resin material that has moderate firmness. It resists curling and tearing, allowing for quick setup and breakdown. Furthermore, it is approximately 10% lighter in GSM (weight per unit area) compared to standard background paper, reducing the burden during transport and setup.
The surface has a low-texture matte finish with high whiteness, and its opacity is comparable to that of background paper.
Ultra-light and minimalist, high portability
The support system for the "FLAT Background" uses the ultra-lightweight "stick reflector system" comprised of battens and a reflector holder. The total system weight is approximately 1kg. Reducing the overall equipment weight maximizes efficiency for travel and transport.
Setup with a single light stand
Utilizing a "two-point tension system" that supports the background by taking advantage of the flex of the carbon battens. Since only one light stand is required, it can be used even in small spaces with minimal footprint.
Flexible background positioning
The two battens (arms) rotate on the holder, allowing for angle adjustments. You can freely control the position of the background to suit the shooting environment.
※Be very careful; tilting the battens excessively can shift the center of gravity and lead to tipping.
Flexible mounting with loop bands
In addition to attaching to a "stick reflector," the loop bands allow for flexible mounting to your existing poles or stands.

How to clean your FLAT Background
If the surface gets dirty, minor stains can be removed by gently rubbing with an eraser or a dry melamine sponge. Do not use any water-based cleaning agents, as they may peel the matte layer or spread the stain.
