Super Light Stand LS-5C-XL

A lightweight and compact carbon fiber light stand. The extendable three-leg design maintains optimal balance even on uneven ground. The rotating top pole allows for easy lighting orientation adjustment. Features high stability thanks to a 28mm maximum pole diameter, same as the LS-65C, and a newly adopted aluminum hook.

Key Features

All legs are extendable

The extendable three-leg design allows the center pole to be positioned vertically, even on uneven or sloped ground.

Designed to significantly reduce the weight burden during location shoots. The design, which lacks protruding knobs, allows for compact storage without getting caught in equipment cases or bags.

The size is compact enough for carry-on luggage on airplanes.

Rotating top pole

The top pole rotates 360°, allowing for easy adjustment of lighting direction.

Tightening the tab stops the rotation and secures it firmly in place.

Stainless steel is used for the screws and rivets in moving parts.

Aluminum hook with tripod screw hole

A sturdy aluminum hook is attached to the center pole for hanging battery packs or weights.

There is a tripod screw hole in the center of the hook, allowing for the attachment of various accessories. (Please do not attach anything that would compromise the stability of the stand.)

1/4-inch male stud screw

The male stud uses a standard tripod screw (UNC 1/4-inch thread). Various accessories can be attached directly without an adapter.

Note: When attaching a Free Tilter (FT-01) or the older model Reflector Holder (RH-100C), please use the included screw conversion adapter.

About Specification Changes

This product has undergone the following specification changes to improve visibility and usability:

  • The color of the lock nut for the top pole has been changed from blue to gray to make it easier to see that it is a rotating pole.
  • The angle of the aluminum hook has been changed upward by approximately 20 degrees to make it easier to hang items.

Both are improvements and there are no changes to the basic structure, performance, or usage method of the product. The product number remains the same as the previous version.
