■ High output, maximum GN of 60 (at 200mm zoom head position)
Despite its compact body, it features a maximum guide number of 60 (at 200mm zoom head position). This powerful output provides the flexibility to create a diverse range of expressions in various situations.

Additionally, the manual mode offers fine adjustment from 1/1 to 1/256 power (in 1/3EV steps), allowing for precise control from high to low output.

■ Built-in radio receiver compatible with NAS*1
When paired with a NAS commander like the "Air10s" or "Air1"*2, you can use the commander to remotely control flash firing (TTL/M), adjust light output, and even change the zoom-controlled flash coverage. Being radio-based, it offers stable operation even in bright daylight or environments with obstacles, which are typically challenging for conventional optical wireless TTL systems.
*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our proprietary standard. It is not compatible with radio wireless systems from other manufacturers, including camera-brand flashes or commanders (transmitters).
*2 Discontinued as of October 2018. In TTL mode, exposure compensation steps are limited to 1/2EV, and in M mode, steps are limited to 1EV with a minimum output of 1/128.

Even with its further reduced size, it maintains a high maximum guide number of 60 (at 200mm zoom; GN 32 at 35mm). This provides plenty of headroom when using the flash off-camera or with various lighting accessories.

Furthermore, the manual mode can be adjusted down to a minimum of 1/256 (in 1/3EV steps), supporting photography that takes advantage of the subtle low-output capabilities unique to a clip-on flash. It enables the detailed settings required by professionals.

■ Head rotation: 180 degrees left/right, 90 degrees upward
Despite its small size, the flash head rotates 90 degrees upward and 180 degrees left and right.
Combined with its high power, this enables full-range bounce flash photography.

■ Supports both auto and manual zoom
Equipped with an auto-zoom mechanism that automatically adjusts flash coverage according to the lens focal length. By matching the flash coverage, it reduces light waste and improves output efficiency.
It covers a lens angle of view from 24mm to 200mm. Pulling out the built-in wide panel extends coverage to 16mm. It also features a manual zoom mechanism, allowing you to set the coverage manually; the setting is retained even after turning off the power.
*Numerical values displayed are based on 35mm full-frame format (excluding Four Thirds).

■ Equipped with an LED video light useful for video recording
Features a wide-angle video light using high-brightness white LEDs on the front of the body.

■ Powered by four AA batteries for powerful performanceHead_turn
We opted for a 4-AA battery design rather than the 2-battery configuration common in compact clip-on flashes.
This not only allowed for the inclusion of a zoom mechanism but also provides significantly superior performance in recycling speed, battery life, and flash output compared to 2-battery models.
*Lithium-ion batteries cannot be used.

■ High-speed charging possible with optional external power pack
High-speed charging is possible using the Nissin PS8* (discontinued) high-performance rechargeable external power pack.
*For i60A Canon/Nikon versions, please use the PS8 Canon/Nikon version respectively. For i60A Sony, Fujifilm, and Olympus/Panasonic (Four Thirds) versions, please use the PS8 Sony version.

■ Size comparison with our previous models

■ Equipped with a rich set of modes
Features a wide range of flash modes, including digital TTL for various manufacturers, Manual (M), Digital Slave (SD), Analog Slave (SF), and wireless TTL remote (Group A/B/C).
Digital TTL, which performs optimal firing based on pre-flash metering, supports Canon's E-TTL II/E-TTL, Nikon's i-TTL/i-TTL-BL, Sony's ADI/P-TTL, Olympus/Panasonic's TTL, and Fujifilm's TTL flash control respectively. Exposure compensation (-2.0 to +2.0EV, in 1/3EV steps) can be set on the flash unit. (TTL exposure compensation can also be performed from the camera; however, the flash display will not be linked.)
Manual (M) can be adjusted in 1/3EV steps from 1/1 to 1/256.
Wireless TTL slave supports both radio and optical systems. The radio system supports Nissin's proprietary NAS, allowing for remote operation via a NAS commander (Air1). The optical system is compatible with official manufacturer systems.
*The Fujifilm version does not support optical wireless TTL.

■ High-speed sync (HSS) and rear-curtain sync functions
High-speed sync (FP flash) and rear-curtain sync can be set from the camera menu. The rear-curtain sync function allows you to express the motion of a subject as a light trail, enabling photos with a sense of fluid movement.
*For the Sony version, HSS mode is disabled if the flash is used for bounce while on-camera.

■ Built-in catchlight and wide panelsCatchlight_panelWidepanel
Includes a built-in catchlight panel, which is convenient for bounce photography and features an easy-to-use slide mechanism. Additionally, the wide panel covering a 16mm angle of view is built into the bottom of the flash head, allowing for completely independent setup.

■ Includes a dedicated diffuser cap and a pouch that stores all accessoriesI60a_diffuser_3
Includes a large dedicated diffuser cap that can be attached even with the catchlight panel pulled out. Also comes with a dedicated carrying pouch with a belt loop that can store all accessories, including the diffuser cap.
