Key Features
High output with a maximum GN of 60 (at 200mm zoom setting)

Despite its compact body, it has a maximum guide number of 60 (at 200mm). This high output provides ample power for a wide variety of shooting situations. Manual mode adjustment range is 1/1 to 1/256 (in 1/3 EV steps).
Built-in radio receiver for NAS
Can be remotely controlled by pairing with a NAS commander such as the "Air10s" or "Air1*2". Being radio-based, it provides stable operation even in bright daylight outdoors or in locations with obstructions.
*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our proprietary standard. Not compatible with other manufacturers' systems, including camera manufacturer original flashes and commanders.
*2 Discontinued in October 2018. Flash power steps limited to 1/2 EV in TTL mode, 1 EV in M mode; minimum power limited to 1/128.
Head rotation: 180 degrees left/right and 90 degrees upward

Despite its small size, the flash head rotates 90 degrees up and 180 degrees left and right, supporting bounce photography in all directions.
Supports both auto and manual zoom
Equipped with an auto-zoom mechanism that automatically adjusts the illumination angle according to the lens focal length. Covers 24-200mm equivalent. Supports 16mm equivalent with the built-in wide panel. Manual zoom settings are retained after powering off.
※Values shown are 35mm full-frame equivalents (except for Four Thirds version)
Equipped with an LED video light useful for video recording

Features a high-brightness white LED wide-angle video light on the front of the unit.
Powered by 4x AA batteries to support high-performance operation

Rather than using 2 batteries as in many compact on-camera flashes, we specifically designed this to use 4 AA batteries. This provides advantages in recycling speed, battery life, and flash output, in addition to supporting the zoom mechanism.
※Lithium-ion batteries cannot be used
Fast recycling using optional external power
Supports high-speed charging using the Nissin high-performance rechargeable external power pack PS8* (discontinued).
※For the i60A Canon/Nikon versions, use the respective Canon/Nikon version of the PS8. For the Sony, Fujifilm, and Olympus/Panasonic (Four Thirds) versions, use the Sony version of the PS8.
Size comparison with our previous models

Equipped with a wide range of modes
Includes various flash modes such as TTL for each brand, Manual (M), Digital Slave (SD), Analog Slave (SF), and Wireless TTL Remote (Group A/B/C).
Supports Digital TTL for optimal lighting based on pre-flash metering:
- Canon: E-TTL II/E-TTL
- Nikon: i-TTL/i-TTL-BL
- Sony: ADI/P-TTL
- Olympus/Panasonic: TTL
- Fujifilm: TTL flash control
Flash exposure compensation (-2.0 to +2.0 EV, 1/3 EV steps) can be adjusted on the flash unit. Manual (M): 1/1 to 1/256, 1/3 EV steps.
Supports radio and optical wireless TTL slave. Radio-based supports proprietary Nissin NAS. Optical supports system compatibility with camera manufacturer brands (※The Fujifilm version does not support optical wireless TTL).
High-Speed Sync (HSS) and Rear Curtain Sync functions
High-speed sync (FP flash) and rear curtain sync can be set via the camera menu. Use rear curtain sync to capture the motion of a subject as trails of light.
※Minimum power is limited to 1/32 during HSS. When set below 1/32, it will fire at 1/32.
※For Sony models, HSS mode is canceled when bouncing on-camera.
Built-in catchlight and wide panels

Includes a built-in, slide-out catchlight panel convenient for bounce photography. The wide panel covering a 16mm angle of view is built into the bottom of the flash head and can be set completely independently.
Includes dedicated diffuser cap and storage pouch that fits all accessories

Comes with a large dedicated diffuser cap that can be attached even when the catchlight panel is extended. Also includes a dedicated storage pouch with a belt loop that fits all accessories, including the diffuser cap.
