■ Machine gun strobe equipped with a high-heat-resistant quartz tube
Uses a high-heat-resistant quartz tube in the flash head. Designed to withstand continuous firing at full power, it allows you to focus on shooting without missing the perfect shutter timing.
■ Magnetic coupling: turn multiple units into a single strobe
Features a lightweight, compact, and slim design. You can operate multiple magnetically connected MG-X units as if they were a single strobe.
Flexible configurations are possible: use multiple units* as one powerful light source for outdoor daytime synchronization, or separate them into individual light sources for multi-light setups indoors.
*The maximum output of one MG-X is 82.7Ws. Two units connected provide 165.4Ws, and three units provide 248.1Ws.
■ High-speed recycling in approx. 1.5 seconds* with lithium-ion batteries
Designed to deliver peak performance when using commercially available 14500 lithium-ion batteries with protection circuits (also sold by our company), it achieves a minimum recycling time of approximately 1.5 seconds* at full power and approximately 360 flashes. Other compatible batteries include AA NiMH and AA alkaline batteries. (Batteries sold separately, except for the rechargeable battery set.)

■ Modeling light

The white LED modeling lights located on both sides of the flash head can be turned ON/OFF via remote control from a commander (Air10s/MG80Pro commander functions).
■ Built-in NAS* receiver
TTL flash control is possible via radio wireless communication using a NAS commander (such as the Air10s). It also supports remote triggering by sensing the flash of a master strobe, similar to a standard monoblock strobe. (No sync terminal is provided.)
* NAS (Nissin Air System) is our proprietary standard. It is not compatible with radio wireless systems from other manufacturers, such as genuine camera manufacturer products.
■ Compatible with camera manufacturer optical TTL wireless systems
This unit can be controlled by Canon and Nikon strobes equipped with an optical TTL wireless master function.
■ First multi-flash support for the NAS system
While no previous NAS-compatible strobe models featured multi-flash functionality, this unit allows for the control of multi-flash functions via a NAS commander for the first time. (Only light intensity can be set via the NAS commander. Flash interval and count must be set on the unit itself.)
