MG8 [Lithium-ion battery & charger set]

■This product includes two KEEPPOWER KP26650 5500mAh lithium-ion batteries and a KEEPPOWER K4 charger (a separate 5V 2.1A USB power source is required).

■The MG8, a compact, lightweight, and highly portable high-performance grip strobe, features a downsized head compared to the popular MG10, reducing weight by 280g (from 975g to 715g, excluding batteries). It is a compact, high-performance grip strobe that is easy to carry. ■Equipped with a high-heat-resistant quartz flash tube. Maximum guide number 60. Featuring the same quartz flash tube as the MG10, it is designed to withstand the heat generated by continuous full-power flashes, allowing you to focus on shooting without missing any shutter opportunities. The maximum guide number is 60 (at ISO 100/200mm). ■Compatible with commercially available lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (26650 type). In addition to the battery cartridge for eight AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH), a battery cartridge for commercially available lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (26650 type) is included. This reduces the charge time at full power to 1.6 seconds. ■All operations performed wirelessly via the Air10s. All operations are performed via the NAS(*1) commander Air10s, with flash modes and output settings communicated to the MG8 via radio signals. ■Removable magnetic sliding zoom cover. Features external auto-zoom. Slide the magnetic zoom cover to control the beam angle automatically or manually. Removing the zoom cover allows for attachment to commercially available clip-on strobe holders. ■Equipped with Open Mode(*2). Supports "Open Mode," a function that allows connection with multiple NAS commanders. Communication is possible without pairing. ■Equipped with a modeling light function. A dimmable LED light is built into the flash head. It can provide up to approximately 4 hours of continuous lighting at a maximum output of 8W.(*3) ■"Wireless Release" function to trigger the camera shutter from the strobe.

　When using this unit with the Air10s and connecting the remote shutter cable included with the Air10s to the camera, pressing the shutter button on the front of the grip enables wireless camera release. ■Easy DIY firmware updates. Equipped with a microSD card slot(*4), allowing you to perform firmware updates yourself. *1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our proprietary standard.
