MF18 Camera Compatibility Chart

■ Supports TTL auto flash. Simple operation by just pressing the shutter button.
Supports TTL flash metering for Canon, Nikon, and Sony digital SLR cameras.
It automatically adjusts the flash output, allowing you to easily capture macro photos just by mounting it to your camera and pressing the shutter.

■ Equipped with Fine Macro (micro-flash mode)
In addition to manual mode (1/1 to 1/64, with -2/3EV and 1/3EV steps), it features a new "Fine Macro (micro-flash) mode" that allows for fine control of micro-flashes from 1/128 to 1/1024 in 1/6EV steps.

■ Flash ring left/right light ratio control
The flash ring is divided into left (A) and right (B) sections. In TTL mode, you can select from 15 flash ratios in 1/2EV steps; in manual mode, you can adjust the left and right sides independently or shift them simultaneously while maintaining the light ratio between them.

■ Flash head opens and closes to fit lens diameter (Supports lenses from 49mm to 77mm)
Features a new "variable size flash ring" mechanism that allows you to increase or decrease the size of the flash ring with a single touch.
When using a macro lens with a large diameter, you can open the flash head to reduce vignetting.

■ Modeling LED lamp for easy subject focusing
The modeling lamp makes focusing easy. Furthermore, the light output from the left and right sides changes according to the light ratio of the flash ring, which is useful for checking lighting effects in advance.

■ Wireless TTL Master function
The MF18 is equipped with a wireless TTL master function, allowing you to control external flashes with wireless TTL remote functionality in groups A and C*, separate from the main unit's flash ring.
Channel settings range from 1 to 4. Modes can be set to TTL (flash exposure compensation -3.0 to +3.0, in 1/2EV steps) or Manual (1/128 to 1/1, in 1/3EV steps).

*Values set in group C for this unit's wireless TTL mode are applied to remote flashes set to groups A and C. (It is not possible to control groups A and C separately.)
