Key Features
High-heat-resistant, highly durable Machine Gun Strobe with a quartz tube
The flash head utilizes a high-heat-resistant quartz tube (patented). It boasts a maximum guide number of 60 (at ISO100/200mm). This tough clip-on strobe is designed to withstand continuous firing at full power, allowing you to focus on your shoot without missing a shutter moment.
Minimized and lightened Machine Gun Strobe for mirrorless cameras
While maintaining a large light output—one of the highest in its class for a clip-on strobe, with a guide number of 60 (at ISO100/200mm)—we achieved a compact body size perfectly suited for mirrorless cameras. It is also approximately 20% lighter than the MG80 Pro.
Built-in NAS*1 receiver
Equipped with a built-in NAS receiver. Using a NAS commander (Air10s), you can perform TTL flash control via radio wireless communication.
Fast charging in approx. 1.2 seconds*2 with Li-ion batteries
Designed for optimal performance when using 14500-type lithium-ion batteries with a protection circuit (sold separately; available through us), this unit achieves a blazing-fast charge time of approx. 1.2 seconds*2 at full power and approximately 360 flashes*3. Readily available AA NiMH or alkaline batteries can also be used.
*2 According to our testing methods
*3 When using 1,000mAh Li-ion batteries
- Please be sure to refer to the "Using Li-ion Batteries" document provided with the product or the "Instruction Manual" (PDF) regarding the handling of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
- External power sources (e.g., Power Pack PS 8) cannot be used.
Detachable sliding zoom cover
Uses an auto-zoom system with a sliding zoom cover. The zoom cover slides to change the irradiation angle, either automatically or manually. The zoom cover is attached to the main unit via magnets and can be removed without tools.
The internal flash surface becomes extremely hot during continuous firing; never touch the flash surface with your bare hands when removing the cover.
*1 NAS (Nissin Air System) is our company's proprietary standard. It is not compatible with radio wireless systems from other manufacturers, such as those included with camera-brand strobes.
