■ Machine-gun strobe equipped with high-heat-resistant quartz tube
Features a high-heat-resistant quartz tube in the flash head. Designed to withstand continuous firing at full power, allowing you to focus on shooting without missing the perfect shutter timing.
■ Magnetic connection allows multiple units to function as one strobe
A lightweight, compact, and slim-profile body. Multiple MG-X units connected via magnets can be operated as a single strobe. You can freely configure them as a single powerful light source for outdoor daylight sync, or separate them as individual light sources for multi-light setups indoors.
*The maximum output of one MG-X is 82.7Ws. Two units connected provide 165.4Ws, and three units provide 248.1Ws.
■ High-speed charging in approx. 1.5 seconds* with Li-ion batteries
Designed for peak performance when using commercially available 14500-type Li-ion batteries with protection circuits (also sold by our company), it achieves a recharge time of approximately 1.5 seconds* at full power and approximately 360 flashes. Other compatible batteries include AA NiMH and AA alkaline batteries. (Batteries sold separately, except in battery sets.)
*Based on our company's measurement methods
■ Modeling light

The white LED modeling lights located on both sides of the flash head can be turned ON/OFF via remote control from a commander (using Air10s/MG80Pro commander functions).
■ Built-in NAS* receiver
Supports TTL flash control via radio wireless communication using a NAS commander (such as the Air10s). It also supports remote triggering by sensing the flash of a master unit, similar to a standard monoblock strobe. (Does not feature a sync terminal.)
* NAS (Nissin Air System) is our company's proprietary standard. It is not compatible with radio wireless systems from other manufacturers, including camera brand originals.
■ Compatible with camera manufacturer optical TTL wireless systems
This unit can be controlled by Canon and Nikon strobes equipped with an optical TTL wireless master function.
■ First NAS-system device to support multi-flash (stroboscopic) mode
While no previous NAS-compatible strobe featured multi-flash, this unit enables, for the first time, the ability to control multi-flash functions via a NAS commander. (The NAS commander only allows setting the flash output; flash interval and number of flashes must be set on the unit itself.)
