Key Features
High heat-resistant design inherited from the "Machine Gun Flash" MG8000
Features a high heat-resistant quartz tube (patented) in the flash head. The design can withstand continuous firing at full power, allowing you to focus on shooting without missing the shutter timing.
Maximum Guide Number 80*1 (165Ws)
Achieves a high output with a maximum guide number of 80. Expand your photographic possibilities with ample power for daylight outdoor flash photography or when used with lighting accessories.
Simple operation panel. All operations from the commander

The operation panel on the unit contains only the power button, Open Mode button, channel setting dial, and flash group setting dial. All MG10 settings are performed from a commander, such as the Air10s (sold separately), attached to the camera.
Removable magnetic slide-on zoom cover (patented)
Uses an external auto-zoom. Slide the magnetic zoom cover to control the beam angle manually or automatically. If the zoom cover is removed, it can be mounted on commercially available clip-on flash holders.
[Caution] The internal flash surface becomes extremely hot during continuous firing, so never touch the flash surface with bare hands when removing the cover.
Built-in modeling light for modeling

A dimmable modeling light*2 is built into the flash head. It provides approximately 4 hours*3 of continuous illumination at an 8W output.
"Wireless Release" function that triggers the shutter with the flash

When using this unit in combination with the Air10s or MG80 Pro and connecting a remote shutter cable to the camera, you can perform wireless camera release by pressing the shutter button on the front of the grip.
Battery cartridge for lithium-ion batteries

In addition to the battery cartridge for 8 AA batteries (alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries - batteries not included), a battery cartridge that accommodates commercially available 26650-type lithium-ion batteries* (protection circuit required - batteries not included) is included as standard.
* Regarding the handling of lithium-ion batteries, please be sure to refer to the "Using Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries" document provided with the product or the "Instruction Manual" (PDF download version). For confirmed batteries, please see the MG10 FAQ.

Regarding the use of Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries
Compared to NiMH rechargeable batteries or alkaline batteries, lithium-ion rechargeable batteries have lower resistance to heat, short-circuiting, and mechanical pressure, and pose a risk of overheating, rupture, or fire. Before use, be sure to read the precautions in "Using Lithium-ion Rechargeable Batteries" provided with the product or the instruction manual. Use only batteries with built-in protection circuits and always use the dedicated battery cartridge and compatible charger.
If the equipment malfunctions due to improper battery handling or battery defects, repairs will be chargeable regardless of the time of purchase. Furthermore, we assume no responsibility for any damage to property or injury caused by overheating, rupture, or fire of the batteries.
