[Air10s, MG80 Pro (for Canon)] Why can’t Air10s/MG80 Pro (Commander mode) do 2nd curtain sync shooting for Canon, unlike Air1?

The Air1 has two modes: “Standard Mode (MODE1)” which works the same as when the flash is attached on top of the camera, and “MODE2” which works the same as the ST-E3-RT for reliable synchronization only when the Air1 is used with a high performance camera that does not have the same communication timing. It was a switchable system.

Air10s and MG80 Pro (commander mode) are always fixed in the same state as Air1’s MODE2 in order to stabilize the communication quality due to their advanced functions. Therefore, as with the stock ST-E3-RT, 2nd curtain sync shooting is not possible. This is due to the hardware specification and cannot be set from the camera.
This is due to the hardware specification, so it is not possible to support 2nd curtain sync shooting by firmware update at a later date. Please understand this.

If you want to use 2nd curtain synchronized shooting, please use our previous model, Air1.
